Martin is a dual-qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Loss Adjuster with a PhD in Civil Engineering. He is an industry leader in forensic accounting, specialising in business interruption and complex claims, with extensive global experience and expertise in loss investigation, valuation, and litigation support.
Before founding A&M Claims Specialists, Martin built an extensive international career within leading global firms. He spent five years at McLarens as Head of Forensic Accounting in Australia, where he successfully led and expanded their forensic accounting practice, delivering high-level advisory and claims services across a wide range of industries. Prior to this, he held a senior global leadership role at Crawford & Company as Global Head of Forensic Accounting. In addition to this position, he served as a Director and Country Manager of their Specialist Adjusting division, where he was responsible for overseeing large-scale and complex claims operations. His remit included leadership across key sectors such as Construction, Power & Energy, Liability, and Forensic Accounting, managing multidisciplinary teams and high-value international claims.
Martin’s core expertise lies in the forensic analysis, investigation, and quantification of complex financial losses. He specialises in areas including Business Interruption, Cyber-related losses, Product Contamination and Product Liability, Fidelity and Third-Party Fraud, as well as Stock and inventory-related claims.
